(Senate Bill 26)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 134 of
Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Dorchester County", sub-title "Circuit Court", re-
moving from the local laws of Dorchester County an unnecessary
provision concerning rules of the court, and their providing for
the transaction of equity business.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 134 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester County", sub-title "Cir-
cuit Court", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments to read as follows:
134. The judges of the Circuit Court for Dorchester County shall
have power to pass all such rules as shall be necessary to facilitate
the transaction of business in said court; [provided, however, that
such rules shall provide for the transaction of equity business;] and
the said court shall be considered to be always open for equity
business.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

(Senate Bill 28)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments Sections 135 and
137 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Dorchester County", sub-title "Circuit
Court", sub-heading "Court Stenographer", amending the laws
concerning the court stenographers of Dorchester County in order
to provide for their employment and tenure and amending said
sections so that they reflect current practice.
