To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, Thomas B. Finan, Secretary of State of the State of
Maryland, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 172 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
DO hereby certify, that at a Special Election held in the Town of
Fairmount Heights, Prince George's County, Maryland, on the First
Monday in May, 1959, an Act known as Chapter 504 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1959, was submitted to the voters
within the Town of Fairmount Heights, Prince George's County,
Maryland, for their adoption or rejection under the provisions of
Chapter 504 of the Acts of 1959, said Act being as follows:
"An Act to add Section 637A to the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1953 Edition, being Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title 'Prince George's
County', sub-title 'Fairmount Heights', to follow immediately
after Section 637 thereof, regulating the maximum amount of
debt which may be incurred by the municipal corporation of
Fairmount Heights pursuant to the provisions of Section 5 of
Article HE of the Constitution of Maryland."
and I do certify, that at said election held in the Town of Fair-
mount Heights, Prince George's County, Maryland, 169 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of Chapter 504 of the Acts of 1959 and
19 votes were cast against the adoption thereof, and a majority of the
votes being cast in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 504 of the
Acts of 1959, the said Act has been ratified by the voters of the Town
of Fairmount Heights, Prince George's County, Maryland.
In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my
name and affixed my Official Seal at the City of
Annapolis, this 25th day of July, 1960.
