That Sections 264 and 265 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles
County (1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title "Surveyor", be
and it is hereby repealed; and that the sub-title "Surveyor", be and
it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

(House Bill 761)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 35 and 36 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Charles County (1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title
"County Commissioners" and to enact new Section 35 in lieu
thereof, to stand in the place of the sections so repealed, to revise
provisions on the number of County Commissioners in Charles
County, their terms and tenure, and to remove obsolete language
therefrom.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 35 and 36 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles
County (1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title "County Com-
missioners", be and they are hereby repealed and that new Section 35
be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the
sections so repealed, to read as follows:

35.

There shall be three County Commissioners for Charles County
who shall be elected at the General Election held in 1962 and every
four years thereafter, for terms of four years.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.
