J. MILLARD TAWES, GOVERNOR                              1581

"Schools", to repeal an obsolete local law relating to the establish-
ment and supervision of McDonogh Institute, the Manual Training
School for the county.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 253 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles County
(1959 Edition, being Articled of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title "Schools", be and it is
hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

Approved May 3, 1961.

CHAPTER 868
(House Bill 758)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 261 and 263 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Charles County (1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-
title "Sheriff", to repeal obsolete local laws in Charles County re-
lating to certain fees and sums allowed to the Sheriff of the county.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 261 and 263 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles
County (1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title "Sheriff", be and
it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 264 and 265 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Charles County (1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title
"Surveyor", and to repeal the sub-title "Surveyor", to repeal
obsolete local laws in Charles County relating to the compensa-
tion, expenses and allowances of the county surveyor.
