and Fifty Cents ($4.50).. All such costs collected shall be remitted
to the County Commissioners for Caroline County.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 838
(House Bill 698)

AN ACT to add new Section 59C to the Code of Public Local Laws
of St. Mary's County (1930 Edition, being Article 19 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "St. Mary's County",
sub-title "County Commissioners", to follow immediately after
Section 59B thereof, said Section 59B haying been enacted by
Chapter 525 of the Acts of 1959, authorizing the County Com-
missioners of St. Mary's County to establish and regulate days
and hours of work for all offices in the county government.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 59C be and it is hereby added to the Code of Public
Local Laws of St. Mary's County (1930 Edition, being Article 19 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "St. Mary's
County", sub-title "County Commissioners", to follow immediately
after Section 59B thereof, said Section 59B having been enacted by
Chapter 525 of the Acts of 1959, and to read as follows:

59C.

The Board of County Commissioners of St. Mary's County, in its
discretion and as the best interests of the county government and
of the residents and employees of the county require, from time to
time may establish and regulate the days and hours of work of all
offices and employments within and under the county government.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

Approved May 3, 1961.

AN ACT to add new Section 14-18 to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Anne Arundel County (1957 Edition, being Article 2 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Anne Arundel
County," sub-title "Chapter 14. Offenses—Miscellaneous," to fol-
low immediately after Section 14-17 thereof, to prohibit, with ex-
ceptions, the sale or transfer to minors, and regulating the use
