CHAPTER 784
(House Bill 812)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 2 of
Chapter 82 of the Acts of 1960 to extend for an additional period
of time the appointive status for purposes of retirement age of the
Director of the Bureau of Mines.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 2 of Chapter 82 of the Acts of 1960 be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

This Act shall expire automatically and with no further action
required by the General Assembly on June 1, [1961] 1962.
Sec, 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 785
(House Bill 817)
AN ACT to add new Section 141B to Article 10 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester County",
sub-title "Circuit Court", sub-heading "Indexes" to follow immedi-
ately after Section 141A thereof, Section 141A having been enacted
by Chapter 280 of the Acts of 1953, to require the clerk of the
Circuit Court of Dorchester County to accept for recording certain
plats of subdivisions in the City of Cambridge.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 141B be and it is hereby added to Article 10 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dor-
chester County", sub-title "Circuit Court", sub-heading "Indexes" to
follow immediately after Section 141A thereof, Section 141A having
been enacted by Chapter 280 of the Acts of 1953, and to read as
follows:

The clerk of the Circuit Court of Dorchester County shall not accept
for recording among the land records any plat of a subdivision within
the City of Cambridge unless the plat has been approved by the City
Engineer of Cambridge.
