INTRODUCTION OF BILL

Senate Bill No. 8—By Senator Hughes:

A Bill entitled: "An Act to add new Sections 19 (d-1) and 20 (e-1)
to Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and
1961 Supplement), title 'Alcoholic Beverages', sub-title 'Beer, Wine and
Liquor Licenses', to follow respectively after Sections 19 (d) and 20 (e)
thereof; and to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 19 (n)
and 20 (n) of said Article and sub-title, providing in Caroline County
for the issuance of certain alcoholic beverage licenses in the categories
known generally as Class B (on sale)—hotels and restaurants and Class C
(on sale) for clubs and relating generally to the licenses for and the
sale of alcoholic beverages in such establishments in Caroline County. "

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Rules.
