(2) have worked under the direction and supervision of a licensed
Restricted or Master Electrician for a period of at least one year
immediately preceding the date of his application.
8-13.
(a) Applicants granted permission to take the written examination
shall pay to the Board a fee of $10. 00 prior to commencing the ex-
amination.
(b) The written examination for either the Master or Restricted
Electrician License shall be predicated upon the standards of the
National Electrical Code, as well as upon any rules and regulations
adopted by the Board pursuant to sub-section 8-2(b), supra.
(c) In order to qualify for the granting of either license the
applicant must receive a grade constituting at least 70 per centum of
the total possible point credits in the examination.
(d) The use of any unauthorized material or other misbehavior by
an applicant during his examination shall cause the immediate re-
jection of his application and bar him from re-examination for at
least six months. Any such rejection shall be permanently noted in
the minutes of the Board.

Each applicant who has taken a written examination shall be
notified, as soon as practicable, thereafter, of the grade which he
received in such examination. Each applicant who has received a
passing grade shall be notified that upon his payment within 60 days
of the appropriate license fee to the Board he shall be issued the
license for which he was examined. The fees for the two classes of
licenses shall be as follows:
(a) Master Electrician

(b) Restricted Electrician

Any person who shall be denied permission to take the written
examination for either class of license, or who shall be given a failing
grade on his written examination by the Board, may appeal from
either action of the Board of Electrical Examiners and Supervisors
to a Board of Arbitration consisting of three Master Electricians
licensed and resident in Anne Arundel County. The appeal shall be
taken within ten days following receipt of notice of the Board's
action, shall be noted in writing, shall provide the name and address
of the Master Electrician selected by the appellant to serve on the
Board of Arbitration, and shall be accompanied by a deposit of sixty
($60. 00) dollars. Within one week following receipt of the appeal
the Board of Electricial Examiners and Supervisors shall select the
second Master Electrician to serve on the Board of Arbitration. With-
in one week following the selection of said second member of the
Board of Arbitration, the said first and second members thereof shall
