Senator Northrop asked that the rules be suspended in order to
report the following bill and two-thirds of the Senators-elect, voting in
the affirmative, the rules were suspended by yeas and nays as follows:

House Bill No. 4—By the Anne Arundel County Delegation:

Subject: SECTION 2 OF CHAPTER 593 OF THE ACTS OF 1951
TO REMOVE THEREFROM A PROVISO WHICH REQUIRES AT
LEAST EQUAL CONTRIBUTIONS BY THE PARTICULAR HOS-
PITAL INVOLVED BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS ON ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY SELLS THE BONDS AU-
THORIZED UNDER SAID ACTS.

Mr. Della for the Rules Committee recommended that House Bill
No. 4 be re-referred to the Finance Committee.

Said recommendation was approved and House Bill No. 4 was re-
referred to the Finance Committee.

RECESS

At 3: 40 o'clock P. M., on motion of Mr. Northrop, the Senate took a
recess until 4: 30 o'clock P. M.

AFTER RECESS

At 4: 30 P. M. the Senate resumed its session.
