Whereas, Section 9 concerns the possible removal of a bridge
across the North Branch of the Wicomico River, having been enacted
in 1922; and

Whereas, Sections 14 and 15 were enacted in 1890 and concern the
construction of a bridge across the Nanticoke River at Vienna; and

Whereas, County Officials agree that all of these sections are
obsolete and of no further value and should be repealed; now there-
fore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 14 and 15 of Article 23 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico
County", sub-title "Bridges", be and they are hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 86
(Senate Bill 54)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 27, 28, 28A and 28B of Article 23 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Wicomico County", sub-title "County Commissioners", said sec-
tions relating to the purchase and conveyance of certain property
in Wicomico County and now being obsolete.

Whereas, Sections 27 and 28 of the Local Laws of Wicomico
County which were enacted in 1927 concern the purchase and con-
veyance by the Salisbury Realty Company of certain property in
Wicomico County; and

Whereas, Sections 28A and 28B were enacted in 1922, also, con-
cern the purchase and conveyance of certain property in the Salis-
bury Election District of Wicomico County; and

Whereas, County officials agree that these four sections are now
obsolete and should be repealed; now, therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 27, 28, 28A and 28B of Article 23 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County",
sub-title "County Commissioners", be and they are hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.
