said sub-title be and is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 80
(Senate Bill 48)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 118A and 118B of Article 23 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico
County", sub-title "Licenses", and to repeal said sub-title, repealing
certain licensing laws applicable in Wicomico County which are
no longer in force by reason of subsequent State legislation to be
found in Article 56 of the State Code.

Whereas, Sections 118A and 118B of the Local Laws of Wicomico
County concern the power of the county to issue certain licenses; and

Whereas, These sections were enacted in 1894 and now are obso-
lete under the provisions of Section 12 of Article 56 of the 1957
State Code; now, therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 118A and 118B of Article 23 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County",
sub-title "Licenses", be and they are hereby repealed, and that said
sub-title be and it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(Senate Bill 49)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 24 and 25 of Article 23 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico
County", sub-title "County Commissioners", said sections relating
to the clerk to be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners
of Wicomico County and now being obsolete.
