CHAPTER 78
(Senate Bill 46)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 136, 136A and 137 of Article 23 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Wicomico County", sub-title "Livestock", and to repeal said sub-
title, repealing obsolete local laws of Wicomico County baying to
do with livestock running at large in a certain portion of Wicomico
County and relating, also, to the enforcement of this law.
Whereas, In Sections 136, 136A and 137 of the Local Laws of
Wicomico County there is a law enacted in 1880 and last amended
in 1902 concerning livestock running at large in a designated portion
of Wicomico County; and
Whereas, In the opinion of County officials these laws are no
longer necessary and should be repealed; now, therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 136, 136A and 137 of Article 23 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County",
sub-title "Livestock", be and they are hereby repealed, and that said
sub-title be and is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 79
(Senate Bill 47)
AN ACT to repeal Section 135 of Article 23 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County",
sub-title "Livery Stable Keepers—Fraud On", and to repeal said
sub-title, repealing certain local laws of Wicomico County which
relate to fraud practiced on the keepers of livery stables and which
are now obsolete.
Whereas, In Section 135 of the Local Laws of Wicomico County
there are provisions which were enacted in the year 1904 concerning
fraud on livery stable keepers; and
Whereas, In the judgment of County officials this section is un-
necessary because of State-wide legislation on the general subject of
fraud; now, therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 135 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
