repealing as obsolete certain Local Laws of Wicomico County
relating to the Judge of the Peoples Court thereof.
Whereas, Sections 97, 98, 99, 100 and 104 of the Local Laws of
Wicomico County, which were enacted by Chapter 11 of the Acts
of the Special Session of 1936, and some of which were amended by
Chapter 109 of the Acts of 1937, concern the Peoples Court of
Wicomico County; and
Whereas, These sections now are obsolete by reason of provisions
contained in the State-wide Trial Magistrates Act which was enacted
in 1939; now, therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 97, 98, 99, 100 and 104 of Article 23 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico
County", sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables", be and
they are hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(Senate Bill 45)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 113-118, inclusive, of Article 23 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Wicomico County", sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Con-
stables", sub-heading "Jurisdiction", said sections relating to the
jurisdiction, fees and duties of Justices of the Peace in Wicomico
County and now being obsolete.
Whereas, Sections 113-118 in the Local Laws of Wicomico County
relating to the jurisdiction, fees and duties of Justices of the Peace
in said county now are obsolete by reason of later laws enacted in
Article 52 of the State Code; now, therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 113-118, inclusive, of Article 23 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County",
sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables", sub-heading "Juris-
diction", be and they are hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.
