caused or committed by the minor child of such parent; provided,
however, that the limit of such parent's liability under this sub-
section shall not exceed the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00);
provided further, however, that the court may pass an appropriate
order requiring such minor child who destroys or steals property to
make restitution himself from such money as he may earn, if such
is feasible considering the age and circumstances of such child and
the requirement of the child's making restitution shall precede any
liability of the parent hereunder.

(J) HE SHALL HAVE AUTHORITY TO DISPOSE OF JUVE-
NILE CASE RECORDS OF THE COURT AFTER THE CHILD
INVOLVED HAS REACHED 21 YEARS OF AGE AND AT LEAST
FIVE YEARS HAVE ELAPSED FROM THE DATE THAT THE
CASE WAS CLOSED BY ORDER OF SAID COURT.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 109 of
Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial Magistrates System",
AND TO ADD A NEW SECTION 119 (J) TO SAID ARTICLE
AND SUB-TITLE, TO FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY AFTER SEC-
TION 119 (I) THEREOF, providing for an increase in the salary
of the Constables at large in Anne Arundel County., ESTABLISH-
ING A MINIMUM ANNUAL SALARY FOR THE OFFICE OF
SUBSTITUTE TRIAL MAGISTRATE THEREIN AND RELAT-
ING GENERALLY TO THE OPERATION OF THE OFFICES
OF JUSTICE OF THE PEACE AND OF CONSTABLE IN
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 109 of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial Mag-
istrates System", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, AND TO ADD A NEW SECTION 119 (J) TO SAID
ARTICLE AND SUB-TITLE, TO FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY
AFTER SECTION 119 (I) THEREOF, AND ALL to read as follows:

109.

One constable at large may be appointed by the county commis-
sioners of the several counties for each trial magistrate, and each of
