ING MORE THAN FIVE POUNDS from ocean front beaches
along the Atlantic Ocean in Worcester County, outside the corporate
limits of any incorporated municipality, except with the approval of
the county commissioners of the county. Violation of this section is
punishable by a fine not to exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
or by imprisonment not to exceed ten days, or both. Each day that
a violation of this section occurs is a separate offense.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 564
(Senate Bill 534)
AN ACT to add new Section 41 (h) to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title 'Aloholic Beverages",
sub-title "General Provisions on Issue of Licenses", to follow im-
mediately after Section 41 (g) thereof, providing that certain
classes of retail licenses shall not be issued IN BALTIMORE CITY
to out-of-state licensees.
Whereas, it is the policy of the State of Maryland to bring about
the orderly sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages; and
Whereas, to better promote this policy the acquisition of certain
retail alcoholic beverage licenses by holders of alcoholic beverage li-
censes in other states should be prohibited; now therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 41 (h) be and it is hereby added to Article 2B of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic
Beverages", sub-title "General Provisions on Issue of Licenses", to
follow immediately after Section 41 (g) thereof, and to read as
follows:
41.
(h) No Class A or Class D beer, beer and light wine, or beer, wine
and liquor license shall be issued except by way of renewal in any
county or Baltimore City to a person or corporation holding an alco-
holic beverage license in any other State.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.
