to follow immediately after Section 9 (45) thereof, exempting
from state, county and local assessment and taxation for a period
of twenty TEN years the real and personal property of any manu-
facturer, employing more than seventy-five people, who locates in
St. Mary's County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new .Section 9 (46) be and it is hereby added to Article 81 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1958 Supplement),
title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "What Shall Be Taxed and
Where", to follow immediately after Section 9 (45) thereof, and to
read as follows:

() The real and personal property of any manufacturer employ-
ing more than seventy-five people who locates in St. Mary's County
after the effective date of this act. SHALL BE EXEMPT FROM
COUNTY AND LOCAL ASSESSMENT AND TAXATION. But
such exemption shall last only for a period of twenty TEN years.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to add new Section 6 to Article 24 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester Coun-
ty", to immediately precede Section 7 thereof and to be under the
new sub-title "Beaches—Removal of Sand", Section 6 haying been
repealed by Chapter 52 of the Acts of 1945, to prohibit the re-
moval or taking away of A QUANTITY OF sand WEIGHING
MORE THAN FIVE POUNDS from beaches along the Atlantic
Ocean in Worcester County, and to provide penalties for violations.
