however, that no payments shall be made to any company which has
any regulations or resolutions limiting the territory within which it
will respond to calls.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(Senate Bill 112)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 281 of
Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title "Roads", as said sec-
tion was last amended by Chapter 221 of the Acts of 1957, pro-
viding that each member of the County Roads Board in Worcester
County shall receive annually an allowance of $600.00 for travel
and expenses.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 281 of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title
"Roads", as said section was last amended by Chapter 221 of the
Acts of 1957, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows :
281. The members of the County Roads Board for Worcester
County shall each receive in addition to their compensation as Coun-
ty Commissioners, compensation from the County at the rate of One
Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per month as members of said County
Roads Board. Each member shall receive annually an allowance of six
hundred dollars ($600.00) for travel and expenses. Said County
Roads Board shall meet on Tuesday of each week, and as often
thereafter as said County Roads Board shall deem it necessary for
the proper performance of its duties.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.
