AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 25 (d)
of Article 36 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Fees of Officers", sub-title "Sheriffs", relating to fees which
shall be charged by the Sheriff of Cecil County SHERIFFS OF
CECIL AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES AND THE DISPOSI-
TION THEREOF.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 25 (d) of Article 36 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Fees of Officers", sub-title "Sheriffs", be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

25.

(d) Baltimore, Cecil, MONTGOMERY and Queen Anne's coun-
ties.—The sheriff of Baltimore, Cecil, MONTGOMERY and Queen
Anne's counties shall be entitled to charge and receive the following
fees for the following items in lieu of the fees provided for such items
in Sub-section (a), to wit:

1.   For serving writ and return..........................................   $1.65

2.   For serving scire facias, including the person sum-
moned, for each person summoned................................    2.00

3.   For serving citation, for each person summoned........    2.00

4.   For serving subpoena and return..................................    2.00

5.   For serving a copy of declaration, short note, nar

and notice of process, for each individual copy...........50

6.   For summoning jurors and witnesses for law, equity,

and criminal courts, each................................................     1.50

7.   For serving duces tecum and return for each wit-
ness summoned ...............................................................     1.25

8.   For serving a writ of possession in ejectment, and
return ...............................................................................    4.00

9.   For serving a writ of ne exeat........................................    4.00

10.   For serving a writ of replevin, and return................ 4.00

11.   For serving a copy of nar in replevin............................ 1.00

12.   For serving a writ of returno, habendo RETORNO

HABENDO, and return............................................ 2.50

13.   For serving a bill of complaint, petition, or order of
court, each ....................................................................... 1.00
