hibiting any person, whether he be the owner, operator, manager, em-
ployer, employee or participant, from engaging in the following
activities, as they are generally described and understood: (1) golf,
(2) tennis, (3) swimming, (4) baseball, (5) horse back riding,
(6) bowling and (7) permanent places of amusement primarily pro-
vided for and devoted to the entertainment of children.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959, and thereafter shall be subject to the provisions con-
tained in Section 3 of this Act.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That in conjunction with the
regular congressional election to be held in Howard County in the
month of November, 1960, there shall be submitted to the qualified
voters of Howard County the question whether this Act shall or
shall not continue to be effective and applicable. The Board of
Supervisors of Elections of Howard County shall do such things
as are necessary and proper to submit the question to the qualified
voters of Howard County at that time. There shall be printed on
the ballots or on the voting machine labels, as the case may be, the
words "For Continuation of Sunday Activities" and "Against Con-
tinuation of Sunday Activities", with suitable provisions made for
the voter to indicate his choice for or against such question. If a
majority of the votes cast on this question shall be cast "For Con-
tinuation of Sunday Activities", this Act shall be continued in effect
in all respects as it has HAD been in effect since June 1, 1959. If a
majority of the votes cast on this question shall be cast "Against
Continuation of Sunday Activities" this Act shall be null and void
and of no further effect whatsoever on the fifteenth day following
the official canvass of the votes cast in Howard County on said
question.

           CHAPTER 504

(House Bill 784)

AN ACT to add Section 637A to the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1953 Edition, being Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's
County", sub-title "Fairmount Heights", to follow immediately
after Section 637 thereof, regulating the maximum amount of
debt which may be incurred by the municipal corporation of
Fairmount Heights pursuant to the provisions of Section 5 of
Article HE of the Constitution of Maryland.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 637A be and it is hereby added to the Code of Public
