urban Sanitary District", to follow immediately after Section 1582
thereof, all to read as follows:

74-47.1 (1582A) Conflict of interest; Declaration of pecuniary
OR PROPERTY interest.

Any member of the Commission who is present at a meeting at
which is discussed any matter in which he has, directly or indirectly,
a pecuniary OR PROPERTY interest, shall declare his interest and
shall refrain from casting a vote in respect of such matter.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(House Bill 380)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 295(a)
and (b) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1957
Edition), title "Natural Resources", sub-title "Fish and Fisheries.
Part 2. Tidal Waters", sub-heading "Shad and Herring Season",
relating to the taking or possession of shad taken by means of
hook and line in tidal waters during part of the year.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 295 (a) and (b) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources", sub-title
"Fish and Fisheries. Part 2. Tidal Waters", sub-heading "Shad and
Herring Season", be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

295. (a) The season for catching shad and herring in the tidal
waters of this State shall be January 1st to June 5th, inclusive,
except that from June 6 to July 5, shad may be taken only by means
of hook and line.

(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to catch, offer for sale, or
have in possession any shad or herring fresh caught in Maryland
between June 11th and December 31st, inclusive, except that from
June 6 to July 5, it shall always be lawful to catch or have in posses-
sion shad taken by means of hook and line.
