AN ACT to add new Section IIIA to the Maryland-Washington
Metropolitan District Act, as enacted by Chapter 1008 of the Acts
of 1943, to follow immediately after Section III thereof, pertaining
to conflict of interest by members of the Maryland National Capital
Park and Planning Commission, declaration of pecuniary OR
PROPERTY interest, and relating generally thereto.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section IIIA be and it is hereby added to the Maryland-
Washington Metropolitan District Act, as enacted by Chapter 1008
of the Acts of 1943, to follow immediately after Section III thereof,
and to read as follows:
IIIA. Any member of the Commission who is present at a meeting
at which is discussed any matter in which he has, directly or in-
directly, a pecuniary OR PROPERTY interest, shall declare his
interest and shall refrain from casting a vote in respect of such
matter.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to add new Section 74-47.1 to the Montgomery County Code
(1955 Edition, being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Washington
Suburban Sanitary District", to follow immediately after Section
74-47 thereof, and to add new Section 1582A to the Prince George's
County Code (1953 Edition, being Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's County", sub-
title "Washington Suburban Sanitary District", to follow immedi-
ately after Section 1582 thereof, pertaining to conflict of interest
by members of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission,
declaration of pecuniary OR PROPERTY interest, and relating
generally thereto.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 74-47.1 be and it is hereby added to the Mont-
gomery County Code (1955 Edition, being Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery County", sub-
