Montgomery and Prince George's Counties boundary line; thence
northeasterly 3.9 miles along the Montgomery and Prince George's
Counties boundary line to the point of beginning, containing ap-
proximately 22.53 square miles. A POINT WHICH IS ABOUT ONE
THOUSAND (1,000) FEET NORTHWEST OF THE PRESENT
CENTERLINE OF THE BALTIMORE-WASHINGTON BOULE-
VARD, SAID POINT BEING THE POINT OF INTERSECTION
OF THE PRESENT MARYLAND-WASHINGTON REGIONAL
DISTRICT BOUNDARY LINE WITH A LINE ONE THOUSAND
(1,000) FEET NORTHWEST OF AND PARALLEL TO THE
PRESENT CENTERLINE OF THE BALTIMORE-WASHINGTON
BOULEVARD; THENCE GENERALLY NORTHEASTERLY
ABOUT 2.6 MILES ALONG THE AFORESAID LINE TO ITS IN-
TERSECTION WITH THE PRESENT SOUTHERLY BOUNDARY
LINE FOR THE TOWN OF LAUREL; THENCE GENERALLY
EASTERLY AND NORTHEASTERLY ABOUT 1.5 MILES
ALONG THE AFORESAID TOWN BOUNDARY LINE TO ITS
INTERSECTION WITH THE COMMON BOUNDARY LINE BE-

MILES ALONG THE AFORESAID COUNTY BOUNDARY LINE
TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH THE EASTERLY BOUNDARY
OF THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR,
PATUXENT RESEARCH REFUGE, AS DESCRIBED JANUARY
1, 1957, AND THE EXISTING REGIONAL DISTRICT BOUND-
ARY LINE; THENCE GENERALLY SOUTHERLY, SOUTH-
WESTERLY, NORTHEASTERLY AND WESTERLY ABOUT 11.4
MILES ALONG THE EXISTING REGIONAL DISTRICT BOUND-
ARY AND THE SPRINGFIELD-HILLMEADE ROAD AND THE
ODELL ROAD TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
(b) Beginning at the easterly boundary of the Maryland Wash-
ington Regional District and the easterly boundary of Prince George's
County at the point of intersection of the center line of the Crain
Highway (U.S. 301) and the center line of the Patuxent River
thence southeasterly 7.3 miles along the center line of the Patuxent
River and the eastern boundary of Prince George's County to their
point of intersection with a line 300 feet south of and parallel to the
center line of Central Avenue (Md. 214); thence westerly 6.5 miles
along the aforesaid line to its point of intersection with the center
line of Western Branch and the existing boundary of the Maryland
Washington Regional District; thence northerly 0.15 miles along
the center line of Western Branch and the existing Regional District
boundary line to their point of intersection with the center line of
Enterprise Road; thence northerly 4.1 miles along the center line
of Enterprise Road to its point of intersection with the center line
of Old Annapolis Road and the existing Regional district boundary
line; thence westerly 0.5 miles along the center line of Old Annapolis
Road and the Regional District boundary line to their point of inter-
section with the center line of existing Annapolis Road (U. S. 50)
