Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That nothing in this Act shall
be construed or applied to change or affect the tenure of any person
holding membership on the State Board of Funeral Directors and
Embalmers on June 1, 1959. All such persons shall continue to hold
their memberships for the duration of the period for which ap-
pointed. As vacancies occur after June 1, 1959, the Governor shall
make appointments in such manner as to give effect to the provisions
and requirements of this Act.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 409
(Senate Bill 455)

AN ACT to repeal Section 158 (g) of Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages",
sub-title "Boards of License Commissioners", relating to the
liquor inspector of Frederick County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 158 (g) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Boards
of License Commissioners", be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 410
(Senate Bill 467)

AN ACT to add new Section 53A to Article 24 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County",
sub-title "Deeds", to follow immediately after Section 53 thereof,
providing that no deed covering property in an incorporated munic-
ipality in Worcester County shall be accepted for recording until
the municipal taxes have been paid.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 53A be and the same is hereby added to Article 24
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
