AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 487 (a),
487 (b), 487 (c) and 487 (d) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition, being Article 2 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Anne Arundel County",
sub-title "Sanitary Districts", as said sections were amended by
Chapter 87 of the Acts of 1950 and as said Section 487 (a) was
amended by Chapter 536 of the Acts of 1955, and as said Section
487 (b) was amended by Chapter 553 of the Acts of 1951; to repeal
and re-enact, with amendments, Section 488 (d) of said Code; to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 488 (e) of said Code,
as amended by Chapter 151 of the Acts of 1949; to repeal and
re-enact, with amendments, Section 516 (a) of said Code; to add
two new sub-sections to said Code to be known as Sections 516 (u)
and 516 (v) to follow immediately after Section 516 (t) of said
Code, as added by Chapter 151 of the Acts of 1949; and to add a

new section to said Code to be known as Section 534A to follow

immediately after Section 534 of said Code; relating generally to
the Sanitary Districts of Anne Arundel County; to the Commis-
sioners thereof and their compensation; to the Secretary and the
Treasurer thereof; to the levy of and the right to extinguish water
supply, sewerage and drainage system benefit charges; to the cor-
rection of errors, omissions or mistakes in the levying of such
benefit charges; to study of parts of the Anne Arundel County
Sanitary District in which there is a need for water supply or
sewerage system;. and to the issuance of permits for the construc-
tion, alteration or extension of a water supply system or a sewerage
collection and disposal system in any area of Anne Arundel County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 487 (a), 487 (c) and 487 (d) of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition, being Article 2
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Anne Arundel
County", sub-title "Sanitary Districts", as said sections were amended
by Chapter 87 of the Acts of 1950 and as said Section 487 (a) was
amended by Chapter 536 of the Acts of 1955; that Section 488 (d) of
said Code and Section 488 (e) of said Code, as amended by Chapter
151 of the Acts of 1949; and that Section 516 (a) of said Code be
and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments; that
two new sub-sections be and they are hereby added to said Code, to
