definitive bonds when such bonds or obligations have been executed
and are available for delivery, provided, however, that any such
interim certificates or temporary bonds shall be issued in all respects
subject to the restrictions and requirements set forth herein. The
County may, by appropriate resolution, provide for the replacement
of any bonds issued hereunder which shall have become mutilated
or be destroyed or lost upon such conditions and after receiving
such indemnity as the Board of County Commissioners may think
it proper and necessary to stipulate and require.

Sec. 7 8. And be it further enacted, That any and all obligations
issued pursuant to the authority of this Act, the interest payable
thereon, and the income derived therefrom in the hands of the
holders thereof from time to time, shall be and is hereby declared
to be exempt from State, county and municipal taxation of every
kind and nature whatsoever in the State of Maryland.

Sec. 8 9. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall be deemed
to provide an additional and alternative method for the doing of
the things authorized hereby and shall be regarded as supplemental
and additional to powers conferred by other laws, and shall not be
regarded as in derogation of any powers now existing. This Act
being necessary for the welfare of the inhabitants of Anne Arundel
County, shall be liberally construed to effect the purposes hereof.
All Acts and parts of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this
Act, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

Sec. 9 10. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on June 1, 1959

CHAPTER 791
(House Bill 572)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 673 of
Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Health", sub-title "Sanitary Districts", to extend to Somer-
set County AND TO WORCESTER COUNTY provisions author-
izing creation of sanitary districts within the counties of the State.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 673 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Health", sub-title "Sanitary Districts", be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

673. Nothing in this sub-title shall apply to, or be effective in the
counties of Anne Arundel, Caroline, Garrett, Harford, Montgomery,
Prince George's, [Somerset,] AND Wicomico. and Worcester.
