corporate undertaking to abide by and fulfill any judgment on such
appeal or further proceedings if there be an appeal, or on the ex-
piration of the appeal time limit if there be no appeal.

31.    Jesup Blair Park; Acceptance and Use.

(a)  Devise of a portion of the farm "The Moorings".A devise
is accepted of a portion of the farm "The Moorings" under the pro-
visions of the last Will of Violet Blair Janin for the establishment
of a public park thereon in memory of Jesup Blair. The portion of
the farm is from the trees fronting on the Brookville Pike and the
road on the south, together with all improvements thereon, subject
to the conditions that (1) ample provision shall be made for the per-
petual maintenance of the property as a park open to the public,
and (2) all of the trees upon the property be preserved except such
of them as it is absolutely necessary to remove in connection with
the laying out of the park; together with the wish and request that
if any of the trees on the property are destroyed or die, they be re-
placed.

(b)  Duties of Commission.The Commission is authorized to
make provision for the perpetual maintenance of the property as a
park open to the public and as a memorial to Jesup Blair, deceased.
The Commission is further authorized to take possession of, manage,
and control the park as such, to preserve the trees thereon, and to
maintain the public park in good condition and carry out the pur-
poses of the devise in respect thereto, to see that good order is
maintained therein and to builds and maintain such roads, buildings,
and conveniences as may be necessary or advisable for such public
park, and to replace such trees as may die or be destroyed, and to
do such other things as may be right and proper in maintaining said
park and in carrying out the purposes of the devise.

(c)   Cost of maintenance.The cost of the maintenance, develop-
ment and/or utilization of the said lands as a public park shall be
provided for perpetually and annually paid from the general rev-
enues of the Commission received under this sub-title. The Com-
mission is authorized, empowered, and directed to make such ex-
penditures annually, in perpetuity from such revenues, as may be
necessary to accomplish the purposes of this sub-title.

(d)  Survey and recording of boundaries.The Commission is
authorized to have a proper survey made and to ascertain and de-
termine the boundaries of the land referred to in said devise; and
to record the survey and the boundaries in the Land Records of
Montgomery County; and to mark the boundaries in a suitable man-
ner.

32.    Lands Held For the General Benefit.

Lands acquired under this sub-title, title to which shall become
vested in the State of Maryland, shall be held by the State for the
general benefit of the citizens of the State of Maryland and especially
for the benefit of the citizens and residents of Montgomery and
Prince George's counties, within the Metropolitan District. Title to
such lands shall not be conveyed out of the State, nor shall such use
be extinguished without the concurrent action of the Commission.
