transfer shall become effective upon such date as shall be set by
the Board provided that at least thirty days prior to such date it
shall file with the Board of Trustees of the State system such infor-
mation as said Board of Trustees may require. The amount of the
accumulated contributions as of the effective date of any member of
the State System shall be transferred to the administrative board
of the local system and shall be credited to his account in said system.
The amount of reserve held in the State retirement system as the
result of the previous contributions of Prince George's County shall
be determined for each member on the effective date and such amount
shall be transferred to the administrative board of the local system.
The aggregate amount of the contributions on the effective date
shall be paid to the administrative board of the local system to be
held in trust for the purpose of providing the retirement benefits
of such transferred members under the local system. From and after
the effective date set for the establishment of the local retirement
system by the County Commissioners for Prince George's County,
Maryland, the County or no NEITHER THE COUNTY NOR ANY
member of the Police Department for said County shall be required
to contribute to the State Employees' Retirement System FOR SUCH
EMPLOYEES SO COVERED BY SUCH LOCAL SYSTEM.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(House Bill 815)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 1575A (e)
of the code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1953
Edition, being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Prince George's County", sub-title "Washington
Suburban Sanitary District", to provide that the requirement of
obtaining a permit from the Washington Suburban Sanitary Com-
mission prior to the construction or alteration of a water supply
system or a sewage collection and disposal system in any area in
Prince George's County not included within the area of the Wash-
ington Suburban Sanitary District shall apply to systems con-
structed by CERTAIN municipal corporations., PROVIDING
FURTHER, HOWEVER, THAT THE AFORESAID REQUIRE-
MENT SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE TOWN OF UPPER
MARLBORO.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
