Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's County", sub-title
"Washington Suburban Sanitary District", be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

1575A.

(e) This section shall not apply to any water supply, sewage col-
lection and disposal system constructed for the sole purpose of serv-
ing a single family residence or a single building. This section shall
apply to any water supply, sewage collection and disposal system
constructed by municipal corporations.
OTHER THAN SUCH
SYSTEMS AS WERE OWNED AND OPERATED BY ANY
MUNICIPALITY IN PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY AS OF
JANUARY 1, 1959,. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE TOWN
OF
UPPER MARLBORO.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect

June 1, 1959.

SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT THIS SEC-
TION IS HEREBY DECLARED TO BE AN EMERGENCY
MEASURE AND NECESSARY FOR THE IMMEDIATE PRES-
ERVATION OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY, AND
HAVING BEEN PASSED BY A YEA AND NAY VOTE, SUP-
PORTED BY THREE-FIFTHS OF THE MEMBERS ELECTED
TO EACH OF THE TWO HOUSES OF THE GENERAL ASSEM-
BLY, THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM THE DATE
OF ITS PASSAGE.

(House Bill 107)

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners for
Prince George's County, from time to time, to borrow not exceed-
ing Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000.00) for the pur-
pose of financing the reconstruction, improvement, extension,
alteration, repair, conversion, modernization and equipping of
the Court House in Upper Marlboro; to effect such borrowing
by the issuance and sale to the highest bidder or bidders at public
sale of its general obligation, serial maturity coupon bonds in
like par amount; empowering the County to fix and determine,
by resolution, the form, tenor, interest rate (or method of arriving
at the same), terms, including redemption and registration pro-
visions, conditions, maturities, and all other details incident or
necessary to the issuance, public sale and delivery of said bonds;
prescribing the method and manner of selling said bonds at public
