having received such [certificate] license, or if any person having
received such [certificate] license shall thereafter lose the same
by revocation or have the effect of the same suspended as provided
for in this sub-heading and shall continue to practice as a Licensed
Certified Tree Expert, or if any person shall use such title, or the
abbreviation "L. C. T. E." or any other words, letters, or abbrevia-
tions tending to indicate that such person is a Licensed Certified
Tree Expert without having received such [certificate] license or
when such [certificate] license has been revoked or suspended,
such person shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon con-
viction thereof, shall be punished for each offense by a fine not
exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment not
exceeding six months, or by both fine and. imprisonment, in the dis-
cretion of the Court. [Nothing in this sub-heading shall be construed
to prevent the owner of any tree or trees from employing any person
to trim the same, the]. The purpose of this sub-heading being IS to
make it unlawful for any person to hold himself out or misrepresent
himself as a [tree expert or] Licensed Certified Tree Expert unless
he is licensed under this sub-heading.
408. (Reciprocity.) The Commission may, in its discretion, reg-
ister the [certificate] license of any person who is not a resident of
this State and who is a lawful holder of a Licensed Certified Tree
Expert [certificate] license issued under the laws of another State
which extends similar privileges to Licensed Certified Tree Experts
of this State; provided, the requirements of said degree in the
said State which has granted it to the applicant are, in the opinion
of the Commission, equivalent to those herein provided.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 19 (f)
of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Beer, Wine and Liquor
Licenses", to amend requirements for issuance of Class B beer,
wine and liquor licenses for hotels in Dorchester County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 19 (f) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Beer,
Wine and Liquor Licenses", be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
