said person directly or indirectly shall attempt to influence any em-
ployee entitled to benefits under this Article, to obtain legal counsel
other than one of his own choosing, he shall be deemed guilty of a mis-
demeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less
than $100 nor more than $1,000, or by imprisonment not exceeding
six months or both, according to the nature and aggravation of the
offense.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 562
(House Bill 325)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 77 of
Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Caroline County", sub-title "Circuit Court", relating to
the law terms of the Circuit Court for Caroline County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 77 of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline County", sub-title "Circuit
Court", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
77. There shall be [four] two regular law terms of the Circuit
Court for Caroline County at Denton, commencing on the [second
Monday in January,] first Monday in April [, fourth Monday in
June,] and the first Monday in October of each year.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

salary of the State's Attorney and Assistant State's Attorney of
Howard County.
