Local Laws of Kent County.

Sec, 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 427
(Senate Bill 603)

AN ACT to add new Section 13A to Article 52 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1956 Supplement), title
"Justices of the Peace", subtitle "Criminal Jurisdiction", said new
section to follow immediately (after Section 13 thereof; providing
that in Talbot County the Trial Magistrate and the Circuit Court
shall have concurrent jurisdiction in hearing cases of traffic viola-
tions under Article 66½ by persons of the age of 18 years or under.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 13A be and it is hereby added to Article 52 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1956 Supplement),
title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Criminal Jurisdiction", said
new section to follow immediately after Section 13 thereof; and to
read as follows:

13A. In Talbot County the Trial Magistrate shall have jurisdic-
tion concurrent with the Circuit Court of said County to hear and
determine any case in which a person of the age of 18 years or under
is charged with a motor vehicle violation under any of the provisions
of Article 66½, title "Motor Vehicles" as such Article may from
time to time be amended; any other provision or law to the contrary
notwithstanding.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 215 (a)
of Article 41 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition),
title "Governor—Executive and Administrative Departments",
