(7) Election pursuant to by-laws.

If the Parish has adopted the alternative method for the election,
number, qualifications and tenure in office of Vestrymen as prescribed
by sub-section (e) of the
THIS section, then the Vestrymen shall be
elected in accordance with the procedure adopted by the by-laws of
the Parish.

(c)  Report of Rector and Vestry prior to election of VestryVoter
may question Rector and Vestrymen
Treasurer to furnish Registrar
with names of contributors
Inspection of account books.

Before the annual election of Vestrymen shall begin, the Rector and
Vestry shall report to the qualified voters present, either orally or in
writing as to them may seem most expedient, such of the proceedings,
transactions and other affairs, which transpired during the preceding
parochial year, as are deemed to be necessary and appropriate, to
inform the voters of the status of the Parish, including the attendance
record of all Vestrymen.

Any qualified voter present may question the Rector and any
Vestryman present as to such of the proceedings, transactions and
affairs as the interrogator believes may be useful in the selection of
new Vestrymen.

For the purpose of keeping an up-to-date permanent record of all
persons qualified to vote, the Treasurer from time to time, or when-
ever requested by the Registrar, shall furnish him with the names, of
which the Treasurer has a record, of all persons who contribute to the
Parish, but not the amounts contributed.

Excepting the amounts of individual contributions, the Treasurer
shall exhibit his books of account for inspection at the annual con-
gregational meeting.

(d)  Delayed congregational meetings.

If for any reason the first or any subsequent annual congregational
meetings for the election of Vestrymen shall not be held on the day
fixed, such meeting, for the purpose aforesaid, shall thereafter be
held as soon as possible, notice of which said delayed meeting shall
be given pursuant to the provisions of Section 288C (a) of this sub-
heading or the Parish by-laws.

(e)  Alternative method of election, number, qualifications and
tenure in office of Vestrymen.

Any Parish may by by-laws provide for the manner of conducting
elections of Vestrymen, the number of Vestrymen to be elected, not
less than six or more than eighteen, and the qualifications and tenure
in office of Vestrymen.

(1)  Adoption of by-laws.

Such by-laws may be adopted at any annual or special congre-
gational meeting by a vote of a majority of the qualified voters present
at such meeting.

(2)  By-laws may be amended.

Any such by-laws after once being adopted shall subsequently be
subject to amendment, modification or repeal at any annual or
