after Section 806 thereof, and to read as follows:
806½. Any person who shall shoot, fire or discharge any firearms,
gun, rifle, pistol, airgun, B B gun, or other contrivance which expels
any missile or missiles by mechanical means, in Washington County
within 100 yards of any house, residences or other building or camp
occupied by human beings, or any barn, stable or other building
commonly used by human beings for any purpose without the express
806½. ANY PERSON IN WASHINGTON COUNTY WHO
SHALL SHOOT, FIRE OR DISCHARGE ANY GUN, RIFLE,
PISTOL OR OTHER FIREARM IN SUCH PROXIMITY TO A
HOUSE, RESIDENCE OR OTHER BUILDING OR CAMP OC-
CUPIED OR FREQUENTED BY HUMAN BEINGS OR IN SUCH
PROXIMITY TO FARM ANIMALS AND LIVESTOCK, AS TO
ENDANGER THEREBY THE PERSON OR PROPERTY OF
ANOTHER, WITHOUT THE EXPRESS permission of the owner,
occupant, or lessee thereof shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction shall be sentenced to pay a fine not to exceed $25.00 and
costs of presentation.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 23A of
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and
1956 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title
"Boating", providing penalties for persons who recklessly operate
a boat in the State of Maryland.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 23A of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition and 1956 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punish-
ments", sub-title "Boating", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
23A.
(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any boat on any
fresh or salt water bay, creek, lake, river or stream in the State of
Maryland in a reckless manner, or in such a manner that may
endanger the person or property of others, or to come into any
