the section so repealed, relating to payments of debts by the
County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 184B of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title
"County Commissioners", said section having been added by Chapter
1 of the Acts of 1933, be and the same is hereby repealed and a new
Section 184B enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place and stead
of the section so repealed and to read as follows:
184B. (Disbursements) No debt, demand and account due by
the County Commissioners shall be paid until a voucher therefor shall
have been presented and examined by the County Commissioners and
approved in writing by a majority of them and a warrant therefor,
drawn upon the County Treasurer, shall have been signed by the
President or Vice-President of the County Commissioners and its
corporate seal thereto affixed, both duly attested by the Clerk to the
County Commissioners.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

(Senate Bill 371)
AN ACT to repeal Section 187A of Article 18 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's
County", sub-title "County Commissioners", as enacted by Chapter
385 of the Acts of 1947, repealing this section relating to salary
power of the County Commissioners over county employees in
Queen Anne's County.
Whereas, It is desirable to repeal this section since this power
will be granted to the County Commissioners in the express powers
hereinafter authorized by law.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 187A of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title
"County Commissioners", as enacted by Chapter 385 of the Acts of
1947, be and it is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.
