Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford
County, being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, published under the direction of the Board of County Com-
missioners of Harford County and edited by Carl N. Everstine, be
and the same is hereby legalized. Said Code shall contain all Public
Local Laws relating to Harford County in effect at the completion
of the 1957 Regular Session of the General Assembly of Maryland;
it shall be deemed and taken in all the Courts of the State and by
all Justices of the Peace and Trial Magistrates of the State and by
all other public officials of the State and of any political sub-division
thereof to be evidence of the Public Local Laws of Harford County in
existence at the time of completion.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted. That the Board of County
Commissioners of Harford County be and it is hereby authorized
and directed to make an appropriation to provide for the publication
of said Code; and it further is authorized to provide for the sale
and distribution of said Code.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted. That the Board of County
Commissioners of Harford County shall make such provision for
a new Code of Public Local Laws not later than during the year
1958. Said Code shall then be known as either the 1957 Edition or
the 1958 Edition, depending upon the time of its publication and, in
either event, is legalized and made evidence of the Public Local
Laws of Harford County, as hereinabove provided.
Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 142
(Senate Bill 177)
AN ACT to add new Sections 114 (b)-1 and 114 (b)-2 to follow
immediately after Section 114 (b) of Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1956 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages",
sub-title "Restrictions Upon Licenses", providing that it shall be
unlawful for any minor in Talbot County to possess alcoholic bev-
erages; providing further that it shall be unlawful for any licen-
see, proprietor, or operator of an establishment dispensing alco-
holic beverages to allow any minor to consume alcoholic beverages
upon said premises; and further providing a penalty for violation
of these infractions.

That new Sections 114 (b)-1 and 114 (b)-2 be and they are hereby
