To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, Blanchard Randall, Secretary of State of the State of
Maryland, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 210 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition) DO
HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 6, 1956, an Act known as Chapter 414 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1955, was submitted to
the voters of the Fifteenth Election District of Prince George's
County, (Melwood), Maryland, for their adoption or rejection under
the provisions of Chapter 414 of the Acts of 1955, said Act being as
follows:
"An Act relating to the fire tax rate and division of proceeds
thereof, in the Fifteenth Election District (Melwood), Prince
George's County, Maryland."
and I DO certify, that at said election 33 votes were cast in favor
of the adoption of Chapter 414 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of 1955, and 75 votes were cast against the adoption of said Chapter
414, and a majority of the votes being cast against the adoption of
Chapter 414 of the Acts of 1955, the said Act has therefore failed of
ratification.
In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my

(Secretary of Annapolis, this 26th day of November, 1956.
