1638                             Joint Resolutions

Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, to continue with their
duties; and be it further

RESOLVED, THAT THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY
FROM TIME TO TIME INCREASE THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS
ON SAID COMMITTEE NOT TO EXCEED FIFTEEN MEMBERS;
AND BE IT FURTHER

Resolved, That said committee shall continue to report to the
Board of County Commissioners by December 1st of each year; and
be it further

Resolved, That the County Commissioners of Prince George's

County be and they are hereby requested to appropriate and make

available to said committee such sums as the County Commissioners

may feel necessary for carrying out the provisions of this resolution.

(House Joint Resolution 38)

House Joint Resolution expressing deepest regrets over the passing
of the Honorable Frank M. Schuler of Baltimore County.

Whereas, The Members of the General Assembly of Maryland
have learned with the deepest regret of the passing of the Honorable
Frank M. Schuler of Baltimore County; and

Whereas, Mr. Schuler has long been identified with the public life
of his county, having served in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Baltimore County, as a member of the Board of Super-
visors of Elections of Baltimore County, and more recently as secre-
tary to the Board of County Commissioners; and

Whereas, He was a kind, considerate and affable man, a devoted
husband and beloved by all his friends and associates; and

Whereas, In his passing Baltimore County and the State of Mary-
land have lost an outstanding public official and a citizen whose ab-
sence will long be felt; now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the deepest
regrets and sympathies of this body be expressed over the passing
of the Honorable Frank M. Schuler of Baltimore County; and be it
further

Resolved, That the Secretary of the State be directed to send a copy
of this resolution to Mrs. Frank M. Schuler, 504 Baltimore Avenue
Towson 4, Baltimore.

Approved April 10, 1957.
