THE JUDGES OF THE ORPHANS COURT FOR WORCESTER
COUNTY SHALL RECEIVE AN ALLOWANCE FOR TRAVELING
EXPENSES OF TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS
($250.00) PER YEAR, TO BE PAID QUARTERLY BY THE
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE RESPECTIVE COUNTIES.
THE JUDGES OF THE ORPHANS' COURT FOR QUEEN ANNE'S
COUNTY SHALL RECEIVE AN ALLOWANCE FOR TRAVELING
EXPENSES OF FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS
($450.00) PER YEAR. THE JUDGES OF THE ORPHANS' COURT
FOR HOWARD COUNTY SHALL RECEIVE AN ALLOWANCE
FOR TRAVELING EXPENSES OF THREE HUNDRED AND
THIRTY-SIX DOLLARS ($336.00) PER YEAR. THE JUDGES
OF THE ORPHANS' COURT FOR SOMERSET COUNTY SHALL
RECEIVE AN ALLOWANCE OF FOUR DOLLARS AND FIFTY
CENTS ($4.50) FOR MILEAGE FOR EVERY DAY'S ATTEN-
DANCE UPON THE SESSIONS OF SAID COURT.
(J-l) EACH OF THE JUDGES OF THE ORPHANS' COURT
OF DORCHESTER COUNTY SHALL RECEIVE AN ANNUAL
SALARY IN THE AMOUNT OF NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS
($900.00).
SEC. 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT THE IN-
CREASE IN COMPENSATION HEREIN PROVIDED FOR THE
JUDGES OF THE ORPHANS' COURT OF DORCHESTER COUN-
TY SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE JUDGES HOLDING SUCH
OFFICE AT THE TIME THIS LAW IS ENACTED. SAID IN-
CREASE SHALL BE EFFECTIVE ONLY AS TO THE JUDGES
OF THE ORPHANS' COURT OF DORCHESTER COUNTY WHO
ARE ELECTED TO SUCH POSITIONS IN THE REGULAR ELEC-
TIONS HELD DURING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER, 1958.
NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY HERE-
INABOVE IN THIS ACT, NOTHING HEREIN SHALL BE CON-
STRUED TO REDUCE IN ANY MANNER THE ALLOWANCE
FOR TRAVELING EXPENSES TO THE SEVERAL JUDGES OF
THE ORPHANS' COURT OF DORCHESTER COUNTY WHO ARE
IN OFFICE ON THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ACT, FOR
THE DURATION OF THE TERM WHICH THEY THEN ARE
SERVING.
Sec. 3 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.
