UP OF SUCH A SYSTEM TO A PUBLIC WATER SYSTEM OR
PUBLIC SEWER SYSTEM MUST BE DONE BY A MASTER
PLUMBER OR BY THE OWNER OR THE AGENT OF THE
OWNER OF SUCH SEWER OR WATER SYSTEM.
The Commission BOARD shall ANNUALLY approve, FOR A
FEE OF ONE DOLLAR, applications for established Appliance
Dealers to make Appliance installations, provided, satisfactory Bond
IN THE AMOUNT OF $1000.00 is made TO CALVERT COUNTY
and the work is to be done by qualified workmen WHOSE QUALIFI-
CATIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY THE APPLIANCE
DEALER AND who may or may not be Master Plumbers. No permit
shall be required for installation of Appliances.
233C. IT SHALL BE UNLAWFUL FOR ANY WHOLESALE
PLUMBING DISTRIBUTOR OR MANUFACTURER TO REFUSE
TO SELL TO ANY RETAIL PLUMBING OUTLET ANY PLUMB-
ING SUPPLIES, APPLIANCES OR FIXTURES OR ANY GOODS
IN THE NATURE OF THE AFORESAID IN CALVERT COUNTY.
ANY VIOLATION OF THIS SECTION SHALL BE PUNISHED
BY A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS
FOR EACH SUCH VIOLATION.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

(House Bill 598)
AN ACT to add new Section 315B to Article 43 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1956 Supplement), title "Health", sub-title
"Plumbing", providing that this provision of the sub-title shall
not be applicable to Calvert County except as provided by Local
Law.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 315B be and it is hereby added to Article 43 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1956 Supplement), title "Health",
sub-title "Plumbing", to read as follows:
315B. The provisions of this sub-title shall not apply to Calvert
County except as provided by Local Law.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.
