designated by the Board, in Hyattsville, on such days and at such
times as the Board may designate, which times shall be not less than
two days a week during evening hours in any election year, except
during the period when registration is closed in said county, as here-
in otherwise provided in this Article. In addition, the said Super-
visors of Elections of said county are hereby authorized to provide
for the registration of voters and change of party affiliations and
removals on such additional days and during such hours and at such
places in said county as they shall determine. The cost for such
additional registration and the appointment of personnel for the con-
duct of such registration shall be in accordance with the provisions
of Section 30 of this Article.

(4) Montgomery County AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES. The
Supervisors of Elections for Montgomery County
AND WASHING-
TON COUNTIES, in addition to the registration hereinabove pro-
vided, are hereby authorized to provide for the registration of voters
and change of party affiliation and removals at such places in said
county and on such additional days and during such hours as
they shall determine. The cost for such additional registration and
the appointment of personnel for the conduct of such registration,
shall be in conformity with the provisions of Section SO of this Article.

(5) ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY. IN ADDITION TO THE REG-
ISTRATION HEREINABOVE PROVIDED, THE SUPERVISORS
OF ELECTIONS SHALL PROVIDE FOR AT LEAST TWO DAYS
FOR REGISTRATION OF VOTERS AND CHANGE OF PARTY
AFFILIATION AND REMOVALS IN ALL PRECINCTS, EXCEPT
THOSE PRECINCTS LOCATED IN THE 6TH ELECTION DIS-
TRICT, PRIOR TO THE CLOSING OF REGISTRATION BEFORE
ANY ELECTION.

(c)  Party Affiliation and Removals. Designation or change of
party affiliation, or removal to another precinct or district within
said city or county, as the case may be, may be made either by written
notice, verified by affidavit of the registrant, sent by mail or by
calling in person at the Board's office. Upon receiving such written
notice, the Board shall cause the signature to be compared with the
original registration records of such applicant, and if such signature
appears to be the same, such change of residence or affiliation shall
be made on the original and duplicate registration records and the
registrant shall be immediately notified by mail of the change so
made. If the Board is not satisfied as to the signature on the written
notice, or that the change should be made, notice shall be sent the
applicant by mail directing him or her to appear at the office of the
Board to answer such questions under oath as may be deemed neces-
sary. If an applicant so notified fails to appear at the office of the
Board as directed, no such entry of change of residence or affiliation
shall be made.

(d)  Oath. All persons applying at the office of the Board for
registration shall be examined under oath as to their names,
addresses, age, qualifications as voters and right to register and vote
in the precinct in which they claim residence.

REGISTRATION BY FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES

39. Continuous Registration Required. In any county of this
State in which the office of Supervisors of Elections shall keep one
