of the Supervisors of Elections promptly to correct and transfer the
registration forms or cards of the registered voters affected thereby
and within ten days after such change to notify such voters by mail
of such transfer and change. A voter's registration shall not be in-
validated by such alteration or transfer, nor shall the right of any
voter be prejudiced by any error in filing or in making out the list
of voters or in making any change or transfer.

(b)   Time for Change. No precinct boundary change shall be made
less than forty-five days before any primary, special, or general
election.

(c)  Maps. The Board of Supervisors of Elections of each county,
at the time precinct lines are changed under the authority of any
provision of law, shall have a reasonable number of maps prepared
showing the changed precinct lines in such county and shall adopt
a resolution describing the precinct lines. One copy each of the
resolution and of the maps shall be filed with the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of such county.

REGISTRATION

17.   Methods of Registration. Registration of voters shall be con-
ducted by judges of election acting as Boards of Registry for their
respective districts or precincts as hereinafter provided in Sections
22 to 34, inclusive, except that in any county which has adopted or
may hereafter adopt the system of permanent registration upon the
recommendation of the Board of Supervisors of Elections approved
by the County Commissioners or County Councils, registration of
voters shall be conducted by Permanent Boards of Registry as here-
inafter provided in Sections 35 to 38 inclusive.

18.   Registration Continued. A person registered on June 1, 1957
as a qualified voter in the City of Baltimore or in any county shall
not be required to register again unless such registration shall be
cancelled as hereinafter provided.

19.   Qualifications. (a) Qualified Voter. Only persons Constitu-
tionally qualified to vote in the precinct or district, as the case may
be, shall be registered as qualified voters.

(b) Presidential Primary. The qualifications of voters in Presiden-
tial and Vice-Presidential
PRIMARY elections of the several political
parties shall be the same as in the primary elections held for the
nomination of candidates for public office in Maryland.

20.   Registration for Persons Becoming 21 Years of Age. Any

person who will be twenty-one years of age on or before the day of
any general election shall be entitled to vote at such general election,
and shall also be entitled to vote at the primary election preceding
such general election, if otherwise entitled to be registered as a
qualified voter. Any person who will become twenty-one years of age
during an election year and on or prior to the day of the general
election, if otherwise entitled to be registered as a qualified voter, shall
be entitled to register to vote at any time provided for registration
of voters during such election year and, when so registered, shall be
entitled to vote at said general election and at the primary election
preceding such general election.;
