TEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, INC., AND (3) MARLBORO VOL-
UNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, INC.

(R) IN THE 11TH ELECTION DISTRICT (BRANDYWINE),
THE PROCEEDS OF SAID TAX SHALL BE PAID BY THE
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS EVERY SIX MONTHS TO THE
BRANDYWINE-AQUASCO VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT,
INC., AND TO THE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT OF
BRANDYWINE, MARYLAND, INC., TO BE SHARED EQUALLY.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That before any tax shall be
levied under the provisions of this Act IN THE FIFTEENTH
(MELLWOOD), FOURTH (NOTTINGHAM) AND THE SECOND
PRECINCT OF THE FOURTEENTH (BOWIE) ELECTION DIS-
TRICTS OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, the question of such
levy shall first be submitted SEPARATELY to the legally qualified
voters of the Fifteenth Election District (Mellwood), THE FOURTH
ELECTION DISTRICT (NOTTINGHAM) AND THE SECOND
PRECINCT OF THE FOURTEENTH ELECTION DISTRICT
(BOWIE) of Prince George's County at a special election to be held
therein IN EACH OF SAID ELECTION DISTRICTS OR PRE-
CINCTS on or before October 15, 1957, the date IN EACH SUCH
ELECTION DISTRICT OR PRECINCT to be in the discretion of the
County Commissioners of Prince George's County. The cost of such
election ELECTIONS shall be borne by the County Commissioners.
There shall be printed on the ballot or the ballot label, to be used at
said eleetion ELECTIONS the title of this Act and underneath said
title, on separate lines, a square or box to the right of and opposite
the words "For Fire Tax IN THE 15TH (MELLWOOD), 4TH (NOT-
TINGHAM), OR 2ND PRECINCT OF THE 14TH (BOWIE)
ELECTION DISTRICTS", AS THE CASE MAY BE, and a corre-
sponding square or box to the right of and opposite the words
"Against Fire Tax IN THE 15TH (MELLWOOD), 4TH (NOTTING-
HAM) OR 2ND PRECINCT OF THE 14TH (BOWIE) ELECTION
DISTRICTS", AS THE CASE MAY BE, so that the voters OF
EACH OF SAID RESPECTIVE ELECTION DISTRICTS OR
PRECINCTS shall be able to designate his or her decision for or
against said fire tax. If a majority of the votes cast in the said elec-
titon district THE ELECTION CONDUCTED IN EACH SUCH
DISTRICT OR PRECINCT shall be "For Fire Tax IN THE 15TH
(MELLWOOD), 4TH (NOTTINGHAM) OR 2ND PRECINCT OF
THE 14TH (BOWIE) ELECTION DISTRICTS", AS THE CASE
MAY BE, then said tax shall be levied and paid over IN THAT DIS-
TRICT OR PRECINCT in accordance with the provisions of this Act,
but if a majority of the votes cast shall be "Against Fire Tax IN
THE 15TH (MELLWOOD), 4TH (NOTTINGHAM) OR 2ND PRE-
CINCT OF THE 14TH (BOWIE) ELECTION DISTRICTS", AS
THE CASE MAY BE, then this Act shall be of no effect and shall
be null and void in that particular election district OR PRECINCT.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.
