NEXATION IS EFFECTIVE IN ANY YEAR FOLLOWING
JUNE 30, THE SAID FIRE TAX SHALL BE LEVIED AND COL-
LECTED BY THE COUNTY FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AND
ONE YEAR FOLLOWING THE ANNEXATION, PROVIDED HOW-
EVER THAT THIS SECTION SHALL NOT APPLY TO ANY TAX
LEVIED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 652 OF THIS
SUB-TITLE FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS FOLLOWING JUNE
1, 1957.

655.

(a) The provisions of this section shall apply to and be effective
in the following election districts of Prince George's County; [6th,
12th, 13th, 18th, 20th, 2nd, 9th, 21st, the incorporated Town of Ed-
monston in the 1st precinct of the 16th Election District, 1st, 3rd, the
1st precinct of the 14th and 5th] 1st (Vansville); 2nd (Bladensburg);
3rd (Marlboro);
4TH (NOTTINGHAM); 5th (Piscataway); 6th
(Spauldings); 7th (Queen Anne); 8th (Aquasco); 9th (Surratts);
11th (Brandywine); 12th (Oxon Hill); 13th (Kent); the 1st Precinct
AND 2ND PRECINCTS of the 14th (Bowie); 15th (Mellwood); 18th
(Seat Pleasant); 20th (Lanham); 21st (Berwyn); and the incorpo-
rated Town of Edmondston in the 1st Precinct of the 14th

Election District (Bowie) (HYATTSVILLE).

656. (N) IN THE EIGHTH ELECTION DISTRICT (AQUASCO),
THE PROCEEDS OF SAID TAX SHALL BE PAID BY THE
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS EVERY SIX MONTHS TO THE
BRANDYWINE-AQUASCO VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT,
INC., AND TO THE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT OF
BRANDYWINE, MARYLAND, INC., TO BE SHARED EQUALLY.

(o) In the Fifteenth Election District (Mellwood), the proceeds of
said tax shall be divided and paid by the County Commissioners every
six months to the respective Treasurers of the following companies
in the amounts specified (1) The Forestville Volunteer Fire Depart-
ment, Inc., 30%, (2) the Marlboro Volunteer Fire Department, Inc.,
20%; (3) The Volunteer Fire Department of Brandywine, Maryland,
Inc., 20%; (4) the District Heights Volunteer Fire Department, Inc.,
10%; (5) the Morningside Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., 10%;
and (6) The Clinton Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., 10%.

(P) IN THE FOURTH ELECTION DISTRICT (NOTTING-
HAM), THE PROCEEDS OF SAID TAX SHALL BE DIVIDED
AND PAID BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS EVERY SIX
MONTHS IN EQUAL SHARES TO THE RESPECTIVE TREAS-
URERS OF: (1) THE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT OF
BRANDYWINE, MARYLAND, INC.; (2) THE BRANDYWINE-
AQUASCO VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, INC., AND (3)
THE MARLBORO VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, INC.

(Q) IN THE 7TH ELECTION DISTRICT (QUEEN ANNE),
THE PROCEEDS OF SAID TAX SHALL BE DIVIDED AND
PAID BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS EVERY SIX
MONTHS IN EQUAL SHARES TO THE RESPECTIVE TREAS-
URERS OF (1) GLENDALE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
