be exercised shall be from 6 o'clock A. M. to 12 o'clock midnight.
Provided that (1) in Baltimore City the hours shall be from 6 o'clock
A. M. to 1 o'clock A. M., (2) in Baltimore County the hours shall
be from 6 o'clock A. M. to 2 o'clock A. M., and (3) in Kent and Howard
Counties the hours shall be from 6 o'clock A. M. to 1 o'clock A. M.

83.

(bb-1). In Kent County, as the TO Classes B and D (on sale) beer,
wine and liquor licenses, this section shall be applicable between the
hours of midnight on Saturday and [8] 6 A. M. on Monday and
between the hours of [midnight] 1 A.M. and [8] 6 A. M. on the
following day on every weekday.

97. Kent County. In Kent County, notwithstanding any other pro-
vision of this sub-title, it shall be unlawful for any person to sell or
for any retail dealer to give alcoholic beverages between the hours
of midnight on Saturday and 6 A. M. on Monday. Any person selling
or any retail dealer giving alcoholic beverages in Kent County be-
tween the hours of midnight on Saturday and 6 A.. M. on Monday
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof shall
be fined not exceeding fifty dollars ($50.00) for the first offense, and
for each succeeding offense shall be fined not exceeding one hundred
dollars ($100.00) or imprisoned in the county jail for not more than
thirty (30) days or be both fined and imprisoned, in the discretion
of the court. [Provided, however that Classes B, C and D (on sale)
beer, wine and liquor licensees shall not sell alcoholic beverages in
Kent County between the hours of midnight on Saturday and 8 A. M.
on Monday between the hours of midnight and 8 A. M. on the follow-
ing day on every weekday.]

(b)   Applicability. This section shall apply only to Allegany, Car-
roll, Charles, Harford, Kent, Queen Anne's and Washington Counties.
Provided, that in Allegany County the penalty for a violation thereof
shall be a fine not in excess of one thousand dollars, or confinement
in the county jail, or house of correction for a period not to exceed
two years, or both fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the
court.

(ee) Kent County. In Kent County, notwithstanding Sections 66
and 67 of this Article,
the board of license commissioners shall have
the power to suspend any alcoholic beverage license for any violation
of this article for not less than 15 nor more than 90 days. An appeal
shall not stay the order of the board suspending a license. The board
shall hear and determine cases within ten days of report of violation
by liquor inspector or other law enforcement officer.

63.

(c)  In Kent County all licenses shall be issued for twelve or six
months' periods only, to begin from the first day of May in the year of
their issue, provided however, that when such licenses are issued for
a period of six months, one-half only of the annual fee herein provided
for shall be charged, ; and further provided that for any licenses
applied for after May first, the fee shall be pro-rated, whether or not
