AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 226 of
Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition),
title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Operation of Vehicles Upon
Highways", relating to the maximum speed of school buses.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 226 of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1951 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Operation of
Vehicles Upon Highways", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
226. [(35)] (45) M. P. H. Maximum Speed of School Buses.
No school bus operating in the State while it is carrying any pas-
sengers to or from school shall be operated at a rate of speed
greater than [35] 45 miles per hour.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 305, 308,
309, 312, and 316, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore
County (1955 Edition), Title 23 "People's Court", to provide to in-
crease the number of judges to three associate judges, and to estab-
lish jurisdiction for suits against corporations, to provide for serv-
ice by Certified Mail as well as Registered Mail, and to increase
costs in certain instances.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 305, 308, 309, 312, and 316 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore County (1955 Edition) are hereby repealed and re-
enacted by amendments to read as follows:
305. There is hereby created a People's Court of Baltimore County.
