CHAP. 161.

authorised and empowered, to levy on the assessable property of
said county, a sum of money not exceeding sixty dollars for the
purpose of constructing a draw to the bridge commonly known by
the name of Little Black Water River Bridge, in order to facilitate
the navigation of said Black Water River.

CHAPTER 162.

An act supplementary to the act for the distribution of a
certain Fund Tor the purpose of establishing Free Schools
in the several counties therein named.
Sec 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the following persons shall be and are hereby appointed commis-
sioners of the school fund for Dorchester county: Colonel Thomas
Ennalls, Joint Brohawn, John Willis Doctor William Jackson,
Robert Dennis. Richard Tootell, Richard Pattison, Roger Wool-
ford, Levin Lake, John Williams, William M. Robinson, Copewell
Keene, Joseph Byus, Edward Griffith, Richard Tubman, and
George Lake; not less than six of whom shall be a quorum to do
business.
2. And be it enacted, That the said commissioners shall have
full power to fill up all vacancies that may occur in their body-
cither by death or otherwise.

CHAPTER 163.

An act to confirm an act, entitled, An act to alter such parts
of the Declaration of Rights, the Constitution and Form
of Government, as relate to the Administration of Oaths
in certain cases.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the act, entitled, An act to alter such parts of the declaration of
rights, the constitution and form of government, as relate to the
administration of oaths in certain cases, passed at the last session
of the general assembly of Maryland, be. and the same is hereby
confirmed, and declared to be part of the constitution and form of
government of this state.

CHAPTER 164.

An act to provide for erecting a Wharf at the Town of
Upper-Marlborough, in Prince-George's County.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the justices of the levy court of Prince-George's county be and
they are hereby authorised and empowered, to assess and levy on
the assessable property of the county, such sum of money as they
may think necessary, not exceeding two thousand dollars, for pur-
chasing as much ground as may be required, and for erecting a
wharf thereon at or near the town of Upper Marlborough in said,
county. ——

Swine not permit-
ted to run at large.

CHAPTER 165.

An act to prevent the running at large of Swine at Eastern
Point in Talbot county.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the first day of May next, it shall not be lawful for
any person or persons to permit swine of any description whatsoe-
ver to run at large at Easton Point, or in its immediate vicinity.
