come entitled to, in any way or manner whatever, be and the same
is hereby annulled and made void, and that the said Ann Jefferis
be and she is hereby declared capable to have, hold, take, receive,
sue for and recover, by compromise, suit or suits in law or equity,
all such property, in as full and ample a manner as if she were a
feme sole, and had never been married, and to hold, use, and en-
joy the same, for her own use and benefit, and the same to dispose
of according to her will and pleasure, without the molestation, in-
terference, hindrance or consent, of her said husband, in the same
manner she could or might have done were she a feme sole.

CHAPTER 41.

An act for the revaluation of Real and Personal Property in
the Counties therein mentioned.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the commissioners of the tax for Prince George's and Cecil
counties, be and they are hereby authorised and directed, to meet
at the respective county towns of said counties, immediately after
the passage of this act, or as soon thereafter as may be practicable,
and proceed agreeably to the provisions of an act passed at No-
vember session eighteen hundred and twelve, entitled, An act for
the valuation of real and personal property in the several counties
of this state, to revalue and reassess the real and personal property
within said counties.
2. And be it enacted, That no person in said counties, whose
property shall not be assessed to the amount of one hundred dol-
lars, shall be liable for or chargeable with any tax, assessment of
charge, imposed in virtue of the act passed at November session
eighteen hundred and twelve, entitled, An act for the valuation
of real and personal property in the several counties of this state.
3. And be it enacted, That the following persons shall be and are
hereby appointed commissioners of the tax for said counties, to
wit: for Prince-George's county, Robert Sewall, Francis M. Hall,
Clement Brooke, Benjamin Ogle and Joseph N. Burch; for Cecil coun-
ty, Edward Oldham, Hyland B. Pennington, Samuel Hayes, George
Davidson and Samuel C. Hall; and are hereby authorised and em-
powered to carry into full effect and operation all the provisions of
this act, and the act of eighteen hundred and twelve, entitled, An
act for the valuation of real and personal property in the several
counties of this state.

CHAPTER 42.

An act to confirm an act, entitled, An act to repeal all that
part of the Constitution and Form of Government as re-
lates to the division of Dorchester County into three se-
parate Election Districts.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the act passed at December session eighteen hundred and sixteen,
entitled, An act to repeal all that part of the constitution and form
of government as relates to the division of Dorchester county in-
to three separate election districts, be and the same is hereby con-
firmed.
