Levy for his

support.

CHAPTER 57.
An act authorising and empowering the Levy Court of
Prince-George's County to assess and levy a sum of
money for the support and maintenance of Uriah Mitch-
ell.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the levy court of Prince-George's county be, and they are
hereby directed and empowered, at their levy court annually, to
assess and levy on the assessable property of said county, a sum
of money not exceeding thirty dollars, for the support and main-
tenance of the said Uriah Mitchell, and that the same be collect-
ed annually by the collector or collectors of Prince-George's
county, and paid to the said Uriah Mitchell, or to his order.

CHAPTER 58.

An act for the relief of Richard Gooding's two Children,
Sarah Gooding and James Gooding, of Saint-Mary's
County.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
it shall and may be lawful for the levy court of Saint-Mary's
county, to assess and levy annually on the assessable property
of said county, so long as they may deem necessary, such sum
as to them may appear reasonable, not exceeding thirty dollars
each, for the support and maintenance of Sarah Gooding and
James Gooding, the afflicted children of Richard Gooding. and
that the same be collected annually, by the collector of Saint-
Mary's county, and by him paid to Richard Gooding, or his or-
der; and in case of the death of the said Richard Gooding, then
and in that case, the sum thus levied shall be paid over to such
person or persons as the judges of the orphans court of said
county shall direct.

CHAPTER 59.

An act Supplementary to an act, entitled, A Supplement
to an act, entitled, An act to Incorporate a Bank, to be
called by the name of The Farmers Bank of Somerset
and Worcester.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the. next election for directors of the Salisbury Branch Bank,
shall take place on the fourth Saturday in June in each and every
year thereafter.
2. And be it enacted, That any thing in the act to which this
is a supplement, which is repugnant to, or inconsistent with, the
provisions of this act, shall be and the same is hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 60.

An act authorising Robert C. Lusby, sheriff of Cecil Coun-
ty, to complete his collections for the year eighteen hun-
dred and fifteen and sixteen.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
Robert C. Lusby be and he is hereby authorised and empowered,
