CHAPTER 188.

An act for the relief of Thomas Noble, of Somerset Coun-
ty.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the justices of the levy court of Somerset county be, and
they are hereby authorised and directed, to assess and levy on
the assessable property of said county, a sum of money not ex-
ceeding thirty dollars, for the support and maintenance of Tho-
mas Noble, and the same shall be collected annually by the col-
lector of Somerset county, and by him paid to the said Thomas
Noble, or to his order.

CHAPTER 189.

An act for the benefit of Isaac Tier, of Worcester County.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the levy court of Worcester county be, and they are here-
by authorised and empowered, at their levy court annually, so
long as they shall deem it necessary, to levy on the assessable
property of said county, a sum of money not exceeding twenty
dollars, for the support and maintenance of the said Isaac Tier,
and that the same be collected annually by the collector of Wor-
cester county, and by him paid to the said Isaac Tier or his
order.

CHAPTER 190.

A Further Supplement to an act, entitled, An act for build-
ing a Bridge over the River Susquehanna.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the president and directors of the Conowingo Bridge Com-
pany be and they are hereby authorised and empowered, to take
and subscribe for any number of shares in the Baltimore and
Harford Turnpike Company, not exceeding ten thousand dollars,
and for a like amount in the stock of any company which now
is, or hereafter may be, incorporated, for making a turnpike road
from said bridge, in Cecil county, to the Pennsylvania line.

CHAPTER 191.

An act for the Sale of the Baltimore Dancing Assembly
Rooms.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the proprietors of the Baltimore Dancing Assembly, or a
majority of them, be and they are hereby authorised and em-
powered to appoint a trustee or trustees for the sale thereof, in
such manner, and upon such terms, as to the said proprietors, or
a majority of them, shall he most advisable and conducive to
the interest of all concerned.
2. And be it enacted, That the proceeds of the said sale shall he
applied in the first instance, to the payment of all arrearages of
ground rent, taxes, and other claims against the said property,
