Deed.

2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the trustee or trustees
aforesaid, before they proceed to act shall enter into bond to the
State of Maryland, with two sureties to be approved by the
chancellor, in the sum of forty thousand dollars, conditioned
for his or their faithful performance of the said trust, and for
their compliance with the orders of the said chancellor in the
premises, which said bond shall be recorded among the records
of the chancery court, and upon such bond or an office copy
thereof, suit or suits may be instituted against the obligor or ob-
ligors therein, or any of them for any breach or non-compli-
ance with the condition thereof by any person interested in the
same.
3. AND BE IT ENACTED, That a deed or Weeds exe-
cuted by the said trustee or trustees for the said land or any part
thereof shall convey to the purchaser or purchasers, all the
right, title, claim and interest, both at law and in equity which
the said William Hammond had at the time of his death, in the
lands mentioned in such deed or deeds to have been thereby
bargained and sold, and shall be a bar to the right or claim of
his representatives; which deed or deeds shall be acknowledged
and recorded in the same manner and within the time limited
by law in the case of other deeds.

CHAPTER 82.
An act to authorise the making of Sewers in the Western Pre-
cincts of Baltimore.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Henry Payson, William Lorman, Robert C.
Long, John Davis and George Milleman be, and they are here-
by appointed commissioners, to cause such sewer or sewers to
be made, under, through or across any of the public streets in
the city or precincts of Baltimore, north of the south side of
Church Street, and between Courtland Street and Jones's Falls,
as in their opinion will conduce to the healthiness or beneficial
improvement of the grounds lying adjacent thereto.
2 AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said commission-
ers shall apportion the expences incurred by the making of such
sewer or sewers, to and amongst the several proprietors of
lots benefitted thereby; which apportionment shall be a lien on
the said lots, and they shall cause the amount thereof if neces-
sary to be collected by the clerk of the Western Precincts who
shall be allowed therefor a commission of six per cent, and he
shall have the same power to enforce the collection as in other!
cases.
3. AND BE IT ENACTED, That should vacancies oc-
cur in said board of commissioners in any manner, the remain-
ing members are authorised to supply the same, and any three
or more commissioners shall be competent to exercise all the
powers and to perform all the duties by this act contemplated
or required.

CHAPTER 83.

An act to lay out and make public a road in Cecil County
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Jeremiah Taylor, Thomas Bittle, Senr. Jo-
siah Alexander, Spencer Biddle and William Boulden be, and
they are hereby appointed commissioners, and they or a majo-
rity of them are hereby authorised to survey, lay out and make
